Overview
Rubric Reporting by Group helps district leaders turn observation and coaching data into clear, actionable insights. Instead of sorting spreadsheets or tallying scores manually, you can view summarized rubric data across time periods, roles, and groups to understand how coaching and instructional initiatives are progressing.
This report is available in the Coaching area of Proserva and builds on the existing Reporting tab with a new, more powerful rubric-focused view.
What Rubric Reporting Shows
Rubric Reporting by Group compiles rubric scores from across your district and presents them in a clear, comparative format.
You can view data from:
Observations
Conferences
Courses
Self-assessments (optional)
Coach or assessor-only data
The report summarizes how educators fall within each rubric level during a selected time period and compares progress across multiple periods.
Key Insights You Can Gain
Rubric Reporting helps you:
See how educators are distributed across rubric levels
Compare growth across time periods
Measure the impact of coaching on specific competency areas
Identify trends by school, coach, tenure, department, or individual educator
For example, you can see whether educators who were previously at an entry-level rubric score are progressing over time after coaching support.

Best Practices
Use consistent rubric definitions to ensure reliable comparisons.
Compare multiple time periods to identify growth trends, not just snapshots.
Focus on movement between levels to measure coaching impact.
Start with group-level insights, then drill down to individuals as needed.
