So your student needs more time? Maybe they got sick, maybe life happened, or maybe they were just saving all 25 lessons for the night before. Whatever the reason, you’re here to be the hero and give them more time. Here’s how to extend a student’s course timeframe in Proserva in just a few clicks.

🛠 Step-by-Step: Extending a Student’s Timeframe

Step 1: Go to the Students Tab

On the left-hand sidebar, under Gradebook, click Students.
(This is where all your enrolled learners live. The dreamers. The doers. The ones who forget deadlines.)

Step 2: Search for the Student

In the search bar, type the student’s name. In this example, we typed "adam" to locate Adam Wilson.

Pro tip: Spelling matters. Unless you're psychic, in which case, why are you reading documentation?

Step 3: Extend the Timeframe

Click the three dots on the far right of the student’s row. A menu will appear. Select Extend Timeframe.

This is the button that makes you the Gandalf of course deadlines: “You shall not fail!”

💡 What Happens Next?

Once you click Extend Timeframe, a popup will prompt you to choose the new course end date or number of additional days. Pick your timeline, click save, and boom—your student has more time to conquer the curriculum.

🧼 Final Thoughts

You're not just extending deadlines—you’re supporting success, fostering flexibility, and probably avoiding a bunch of panicked emails. Go you.
