How to Submit Your Licensure Renewal on Proserva
Proserva streamlines the teacher and administrator licensure renewal process by helping you track hours, upload evidence, and submit your portfolio—all in one place. Whether you’re renewing a teaching license, an admin license, or both, this guide will walk you through the process from login to submission.
🧭 Getting Started
Step 1: Log in to Proserva
Go to proserva.co
Click Log In or Get Started.
Enter your district email address.
Choose your login method (Google, Microsoft, or password):
If only one option appears, you’re good to go.
If all three appear, your email might not be linked to a district account yet. Just message our team using the chat in the bottom-right corner and we’ll fix it quickly.
📁 Navigating to the Renewal Page
After logging in:
You’ll land on your homepage with four tabs at the top: Learn, License, Observe, and Goals.
Click the License tab.
Then click Renew to go to your renewal dashboard.
If prompted, enter your file folder number. Once added, your license details (type, tier, and origin) will sync automatically from PELSB.
🔢 Tracking Your Progress
On your renewal dashboard, you’ll see:
Your remaining hours needed.
A checklist of state requirement criteria.
A list of any pre-uploaded district hours.
The ability to export all CEUs to a CSV for backup.
⬆️ Uploading CEUs and Evidence
Adding New Hours
Click Record Hours.
In your evidence library, choose to:
Upload a file (PDF or image of a certificate).
Add a link (e.g., online course certificate).
Fill out the form:
Title of the event/training.
Number of hours awarded.
Date of completion.
Evidence Category (e.g., C for Staff Development).
State Criteria met (e.g., early warning signs of mental illness).
Description (optional).
Check BOSA-certified if applicable.
Click Add.
That’s it! Your evidence is now pending review by your renewal committee.
✅ Submitting Your Renewal
Once your hours and criteria are complete:
Return to the Renewal page.
If all required boxes are checked, click Submit.
Confirm submission when prompted.
This will send your full renewal portfolio to your relicensure committee. You’ll see the status change to Pending Approval.

Tracking Approval
Watch your dashboard for updates.
Approved items will be marked clearly.
If you have an admin license, BOSA hours will be tracked separately (and counted toward teacher hours too).
Rejections & Resubmissions
If any items are rejected:
You’ll receive an email with the reason for rejection.
Return to the dashboard, edit or replace the item, and resubmit.

No worries. You can always update or remove items before final submission. If rejected, the system will guide you through the resubmission process.
