How to Use the Observing Tab for Site Administrators

The Observing tab allows site administrators to create and manage observations and access the rubrics and forms available to them.

The Observing tab includes:

  • Observations

  • Rubrics

  • Forms

Observations

The Observations section displays observations in which you are either the observer or the person being observed.

Use the available filters to view:

  • All observations

  • Observations shared with you

  • Observations created by you

Select an observation to open and review its details.

Start a New Observation

  1. Open the Observations section.

  2. Click the option to start a new observation.

  3. Select the educator you are observing.

  4. Add the applicable observation details, rubrics, or forms.

  5. Save or begin the observation.

Rubrics

The Rubrics section displays the evaluation frameworks available to you. From this section, you can view and manage rubrics you have permission to access and create new rubrics.

Forms

The Forms section displays the forms available to you. From this section, you can view and manage forms you have permission to access and create new forms.
